Bad people

What do you do when you find someone bad, but they don't know it?

I realize this is a loaded question, and bad to one person may simply be playful or even good to another person. What I'm talking about is someone who takes revenge on an entire community after being rejected by one person.

There is this guy that had many responsibilities. He was young and energetic, but one day he was needed because some trouble happened. He could not be reached. So, we waited. The next day, he could not be reached. So, we waited. The next day and the next passed, but still he could not be reached. After a week lost, someone from the community stepped up and offered to help us out of the jam we were in. It was amazing. In only one evening, things began to get back to normal. A few days later, the guy that had been missing turned up. He became angry that he was left out of the community. We explained what had happened and offered him access to the security of the entire community, just as he had before.

He secretly sabotaged the community and plotted against us. We had no idea this was happening. The community began to dwindle, and responses to our troubles were delayed. When one of the community leaders discovered the misdeeds of the energetic youth, he was confronted to find out if it was true and why. This made the youth very very angry. The youth began to cause even more strife and caused much trouble for the community. The community split into fragments and was nearly destroyed.

The youth created his own community and invited others to join his community. For his community was stable and had no troubles like the old community. The old community did not object. The old community did not shout out the crimes of the youth. The did not want to cause trouble. For they knew the youth would cause enough trouble on his own.

Watching from afar, another community, a neighboring community, was not informed of these events, but still the neighbors thought it strange the happenings of the old and new communities and did not understand the troubles the old community faced.

The neighboring community had supported the old community in its troubles and asked no questions about the times of trouble. The youth was never held accountable for his actions and to this day attempts to attract members from the old community. Now, the youth attempts to be energetic answer to the troubles now faced by the neighboring community. However, these troubles are not so bad. These troubles are being confronted by the leaders of the neighboring community, and the youth will not be needed to save them from any impending doom.

Now, the leaders of the neighboring community know of the strife caused by the youth, and as the neighboring community has never needed the youth for anything, the neighboring community is safe enough from the evils that the youth can bring. However, now that the neighboring community has been altered to this evil youth, they will be keeping a wary eye upon activity that surround that youth. This has also let them know that evil can spring from almost anywhere.

As to why the youth committed the acts that he did, the communities will just have to wonder. It might be a misunderstanding. Perhaps he was framed. He was not directly accused of committing these acts, but was asked if he had anything to do with the acts or knew of anyone who did. A business that supplied the youth with extra spending money discovered the youth had rerouted money from the old community to his personal account.

This is what I mean by bad people. To spend your entire life scamming people for the life, liberties, and peace of mind that it seems as if aliens have come down and taken control of some of the population. I guess that's why there are sociologists.

From the conversations and socializing of this youth, I get the impression that the youth in this story believes himself to be a good person.

DFW Roleplayers coming along

The site is coming along very nicely. Oldgamster is doing a fantastic job of setting up our site. It's got some of the colors of the old meetup site, but the message board is far superior. I can't wait to "Launch" it to everyone.
